CANNABIS HISTORY

The use of hemp has been around for 10,000 years. It was first used medically in 2800bc by the chinese founder of medicine Emperor Shen Neng. The leaves of the cannibis plant were put on wounds sustained in war (Magic Weed). Surviving texts from the Assyrians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, and East Indians confirm that it was used for a variety of illnesses and ailments. These included gastrointestinal disorders, insomnia, headaches, muscle spasm and as an anesthetic, frequently used in childbirth. The Egyptians even used cannabis in suppositories for relieving the pain of hemmoroids. Eating cannabinoids can CURE complex diseases such as cancer and diabetes. Using marijuana  helps relieve the symptoms associated with anxiety, depression and PTSD to help you get a good nights sleep!

Within this website are a multitude of links that provide a comprehensive look at marijuana in the medical field. Supplemental methods of natural pain relief are included because I think it's time you took control of your condition instead of adding to the problem by using synthetic medication?

COOKING WITH CANNABIS

'Cooking Green' takes on a whole new meaning when your ingredients are cannabinized. Although the color may not be the preferred white for cream or yellow for butter, for example,'canna-ingredients'  have a nutty, slightly spicy tinge to them so don't let the hue fool you. If made properly it can pack quite a punch without changing the flavor of your favorite foods.

MOVIES, MOVIES, MOVIES

I'm a big movie buff and my favorite type of films are documentaries. An abundance of invaluable information is contained in a number of DVD's listed on the 'MOVIES and MORE' page. They are all available through NETFLIX. Grab a bowl of popcorn (I prefer caramelized or buttered) and enjoy.
